Wells Branch Extension Homemakers are one of 4 local community groups that comprise York County Extension Homemakers. We have 20 members and meet on the first Tuesday of every month at the Wells Congregational Church on Route 1 in Wells.
Some projects we have recently been involved in [or are planning to be involved with] are:
- Pot Luck and a craft – September 4, 2012
- Quilling – October 2, 2012
- Visit from Deborah Killam – November 6, 2012
- Special Christmas Music – Dec. 4, 2012
- Games We Once Played – January 8, 2013
- Craft (scissor holder) – February 5, 2013
- Silent Auction – March 3, 2013
- Wildflowers – April 2, 2013
- Audubon Birds – May 7, 2013
- Outing – we will not have a program at the church – June 4, 2013
Information was shared for the Maine Mitten Project. This is a statewide effort where volunteers knit mittens, hats, and scarves to support four agencies. Visit their website for information.
