Wells Branch

Wells Branch Extension Homemakers are one of 4 local community groups that comprise York County Extension Homemakers.  We have 20 members and meet on the first Tuesday of every month at the Wells Congregational Church on Route 1 in Wells.

Some projects we have recently been involved in [or are planning to be involved with] are:

  • Pot Luck and a craft
  • Quilling
  • Visit from Deborah Killam
  • Special Christmas Music
  • Games We Once Played
  • Craft (scissor holder)
  • Silent Auction
  • Wildflowers
  • Audubon Birds
  • Outing – we will not have a program at the church – June 4, 2013

Information was shared for the Maine Mitten Project.  This is a statewide effort where volunteers knit mittens, hats, and scarves to support four agencies.  Visit their website for information.
