Fall 2012 – Fall 2013
B.S. 2009, Biology, Seattle Pacific University, Seattle, WA

Brief Bio: Having grown up in Oregon, I’ve spent most of my life in the forest or out on the coast. So naturally, I moved up to Seattle for my undergrad to earn a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Once I graduated, for three years I worked in Alaska and Hawaii as a naturalist for the National Park Service, US Forest Service, and Princess Cruise Lines. Desire for a new direction in my career and change in scenery, I came out here to the East coast. I am now working towards a Masters in Wildlife Conservation hoping to work internationally with endangered species. In addition to wildlife studied, I am also passionate about traveling; I’ve had the opportunity to visit Kenya, Vietnam, Galapagos islands, and remote parts of Canada. When I am not studying or working I am playing guitar, singing, or gone on a trail run.
