Get those spring-craving feet ready for the annual UMaine Student Wellness Resource Center’s Healthy High 5K or 10K race on April 13 at 4:20 p.m. Though sponsored by the Student Wellness Resource Center, the general public is welcome to participate. Entry fee is $5 for students, $15 for staff and public. All proceeds from the race benefit the Black Bear Exchange food pantry and Thrift Store on campus. There is also a free 1 mile Fun Walk.
If you hesitate to sign up for the Healthy High 5K or 10K race, you’ve got time to train with a Campus Recreation sponsored training program called Couch to 5K.
