Want to take the worry out of winter walking? Better balance can lead to improved activities of daily living, as well as reduced risk of injuries and falls. Train your body to interpret and use information about your position in space for improvements in coordination, performance and posture. Julie Avans from the Rec Center will guide you through a variety of static and dynamic balance exercises you can do at home or in the gym.
This is a free event for all UMaine employees of all fitness levels. Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers.
