Avoid upsizing images or using very small text as both will cause pixelation

Image based text should be kept to a minimum, and must be high contrast enough and large enough to read easily

Image based charts and graphs are extremely difficult or impossible to make 508 compliant; for complex charts and graphs, another good option is offering a downloadable PDF

Cropping a banner from a vertical image usually cuts off the image’s important content.  So we strongly advise using a horizontal image.  It will best suit your needs.
