Maine 4-H Science Opportunity

Needed! Four or five volunteers who have an interest in science and who are willing to share science activities with their 4-H club members, after school sites, local schools or community groups.

Ideally, Maine 4-H Science Volunteers will provide one or two science activities in a calendar year based on how much time you can comfortably give as a volunteer. So – an activity might be a one time short-term activity – 45 minutes to an hour, or even a weekly or a monthly science club.

Volunteers have organized Family Science Events, National Youth Science Day Experiments and traveled with youth to participate in fun Engineering Program activities at the University of Maine. There is flexibility here!

For more information contact your local Cooperative Extension 4-H Program.

Thank you for your consideration volunteering for our Maine 4-H Science Program.
