Administration - Student Chief of Service
The Student Chief of Service oversees daily operations, supervises the Assistant Chiefs, and provides leadership and guidance to all members. He or she communicates with other university departments as needed, including the Police Department, Parking Services, Purchasing, and Facilities. He or she is responsible for organizing all event coverage as requested by event management staff. He or she maintains communication with billing services, seeks and obtains grants for the organization, oversees ordering and inventory of all supplies used by the organization, and maintains ambulances at a licensable level as required by Maine EMS. Along with other student officers, the Student Chief of Service assists with applicant interviews, participates in week-long “Supervisor On Duty” rotations, and completes other duties as assigned by the Chief of Service.
