Administration - Assistant Chief of Operations

The Assistant Chief of Operations is responsible for ensuring that the ambulance and equipment are appropriately maintained, monitored, and replaced as needed. He or she ensures the daily equipment and medication checks, as well as the daily duties, are completed. He or she tracks expiration dates of materials, medications, routine maintenance, annual equipment inspections, and vehicle registrations, and addresses expiring items in a timely manner. He or she oversees the campus AED program, which includes monthly AED checks. Along with other student officers, the Assistant Chief of Operations assists with applicant interviews, participates in week-long “Supervisor On Duty” rotations, and completes other duties as assigned by the Chief of Service or the Student Chief of Service.
