Camping

Ralph Waldo Emerson  once said, “In the presence of nature, a wild delight runs through the man, in spite of real sorrows.” There is something about getting away from it all in nature that revitalizes you. Camping is not only a wonderful way to reconnect with nature and your family and friends, but it even has some great health benefits! A University of Michigan study found “that just a few minutes walking in nature can reduce depressive symptoms, which is common in people who live in urban spaces.” Click here to see some of the benefits of camping.

While you’re outdoors, be sure to follow the Leave No Trace Seven Principles!
