After over 28 years of serving as the director of the University of Maine Press, Michael Alpert is retiring in May 2024. Due to his retirement and the work we are completing on current book projects, we are not reviewing manuscripts for publication at this time. We expect to resume manuscript review when a new director is hired in early 2025. We will update this site with more information at that time.
