The University of Maine Humanities Initiative supports faculty development by offering grants and stipends and organizing faculty seminars and workshops.

The next faculty development program is a four-day seminar (May 13-16, 2013) featuring UMaine faculty, staff, and graduate students presenting their research in lectures, panels, and interdisciplinary events. For the seminar program: UMaine Humanities Intiative May Seminar (PDF).
