The Dell Scholarship is geared towards UB students! Over the years, we have had many students receive this scholarship, which equates to $5000 per year in college ($20,000) and a brand new Dell laptop. Deadline is early January. You can begin your application in November of your senior year!

The
Barking Foundation is a scholarship for Maine students who demonstrate financial need.The
Mainely Character Scholarship gives $5,000 to a student who You could win a $5,000.00 scholarship based on character, integrity, responsibility, and concern for others.
The Gates Millenium Scholarship is for students from Asian-Pacific Islander American, African American, Indian America/Alaska Native students who excel in school. Check it out!

The
Paul Tsongas Scholarship Program seeks to recognize achievement and reward Massachusetts students who have graduated from high school within three years with a grade point average of 3.75 and highly competitive SAT or ACT scores.
The Christian Herter Scholarshipis for students who are enrolled in a public or private secondary school in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and legal residents of the State, have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, and exhibit difficult personal circumstances, high financial need, and strong academic promise to continue education beyond the secondary level. Pathways to Science http://www.mainestem.org/ has many wonderful internship and scholarship opportunities.

Seimens Competition in Math, Science & Technology is a great opportunity for UBMS students to submit their Individual Project Research. If you think you might be interested in applying, speak with your UB Counselor well before summer program so arrangements can be made to help you begin the process early.
Instructions and registration begin in April; deadline for entries is in early October.

Intel Science Talent Search is a great opportunity for UBMS students to submit their Individual Project Research. If you think you might be interested in applying, speak with your UB Counselor well before summer program so arrangements can be made to help you begin the process early. Research projects must be independent projects; they cannot be team efforts. The deadline for submission is in mid-November of your senior year.
The
Young Naturalist Scholarship is for students in grades 7 through grade 12 who conduct original research in areas such as biology, astronomy, and earth science. 12 scholarships of $2200 each are available.
