New Faculty Events

Please remember that CETA defines “new faculty” status as extending through a faculty member’s first 5 years of service at the university. All faculty in years 1 through 5 are cordially invited to join us.

These events are supported by the Adelaide C. and Alan L. Bird Fund for Instructional and Faculty Development.

For New Faculty Events, please call or email your registration to:  581-3472 or CETA@umit.maine.edu

Workshop

 My Grant Proposal Wasn’t Funded.
Now What??

Thursday, February 14, 2013
2:00—4:00 p.m.
Wells Conference Center, Room 3
(Register by February 11)

You invested considerable time and energy writing your proposal, but it wasn’t funded.

This workshop – designed specifically for new and junior faculty – will offer practical, effective strategies for answering these and similar questions.
Bring your ideas, your questions, and your proposal. We hope you will join us for this engaging and helpful session.

Facilitator: Linda Silka, Director of the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center
