The Maine Alpha chapter of Tau Beta Pi is the state’s only engineering honor society. It is a very prestigious society and every engineering student should strive to achieve membership.  Potential members are students that strive for the highest academic standards, demonstrate outstanding character, and actively participate in community service projects. Once inducted, members work together to organize community service projects, mentor other students, and are expected to continue to display exceptional character.

The Maine Alpha chapter earned its charter in 1911, and will be celebrating its 100 anniversary this upcoming spring. Click here to get all the details for the celebration.

11:00 am to    12:30pm	CHECK-IN/LUNCH  Parking at Dunn and Corbett lots	Wells Conference Center
1:00 pm to  3:00 pm	TOURS of campus, engineering labs  Given by current Tau Beta Pi students
4:00 pm SHARP!	TAU BETA PI INITIATION CEREMONY  Open only to Tau Beta Pi members and inductees	Wells Conference Center
6:00 pm	BANQUET sponsored by   Check-In for Banquet starts at 5:00 pm at Wells – Get your Meal Ticket and Name Tag at Check-In. Dress: Business Casual	Wells Conference Center
