We think summer camp is the best thing ever, and the Tanglewood Bridge is designed to give campers a first-hand look into the world of residential camp–without having to spend the night! Campers participate in a Monday-Friday program from 8:30-5 PM (3 PM on Friday).
Lunch & a snack are provided. Campers will have their meals with our residential campers.
Flexible drop off and pick up times
At the request of parents, we are pleased to offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times. At no additional charge, parents may drop campers off:
It’s your camp experience
Campers choose a focus program they would like to do each morning from 9–11. There are usually about 10 options, covering everything from Creative Arts through to Outdoor Living; Watershed Exploration to Group Challenge. As part of your confirmation packet, you will receive a Focus Option Flyer that you can use to choose your focus ahead of time or you can wait and choose a focus at registration on Monday morning. Space is limited so some options may be full and not available on Monday morning.
During the week, daily afternoon “electives” offer many more choices of educational and recreational fun. Campers can enjoy hikes, pond study, court and field sports, swim instruction, creative art projects, cultural activities, woodworking, music, cooking, and…water games! We try to make sure there’s enough variety at each elective period so that everyone can find something they would like to do. There is also plenty of time for swimming, playing field games, or just relaxing with new friends during two daily recreation periods.
[Note: On our online registration system, the Bridge Program is listed as a "Day Only" option under Tanglewood Residential Camp]
