4-H Camp & Learning Centers at Tanglewood & Blueberry Cove

We have two facilities, Tanglewood forest in Lincolnville & Blueberry Cove in Tenants Harbor.

Tanglewood

• From Belfast: going South on US Route 1, travel approximately 12 miles, cross over the Ducktrap River and go uphill; look for a Tanglewood sign to right, and turn right onto Ducktrap Road.
• From Camden: going North on US Route 1, travel approximately 5 miles to Lincolnville Beach, continue another mile North and turn left onto Ducktrap Road.
• From Lincolnville Center: follow Route 173 to Lincolnville Beach and turn left onto Route 1 (North). Continue another mile North and turn left onto Ducktrap Road.

Once at Ducktrap road travel 0.8 miles and turn right onto Tanglewood Road, passing a Tanglewood Sign (our Headquarters). From this point travel 1 mile along the dirt road to a “gate” area and a further 1.6 miles to Water Tower Road for Big Pine Lodge parking and 1.8 miles to Main Parking Lot for the Dining Hall parking.

Blueberry Cove

From Thomaston at the Knox Mansion (Montpelier), take US Route 1 South, towards St. George/Tenants Harbor. Follow Rt. 131 through the town of Tenants Harbor. Continue to follow Rt. 131 toward Port Clyde (The road veers to the left).

Take a left turn onto Harts Neck Road, a short way after the ball field (10.7 miles from Rt. 1). Blueberry Cove Camp is located at 22 Blueberry Cove Road. The driveway is on the left about 0.5 miles down Harts Neck Rd.
