General Description
Student is responsible for performing a wide range of work relating to recreation and/or athletics. Student works under minimal supervision and exercises a moderate level of independent judgment.

Duties (may include but not limited to)
Performs routine maintenance and preparation of fields or courts
Operates grounds and building equipment
Cleans grounds and equipment
Ensures proper care of equipment and promotes workplace safety
Marks fields, courts and other areas for athletic events
Provides positive public relations
Attends staff meetings and trainings when scheduled
Answers questions
Is responsible for instructional courses
Processes sales of merchandise
Coaches and referees recreational sports
Assists in training of new staff members

Additional Requirements (may include but not limited to)
May be required to obtain CPR and other health-related certifications
Performs administrative duties as needed
Is knowledgeable in regards to recreational sports
Exhibits excellent people and communication skills
Must be dependable, responsible and punctual
Must have basic computer skills
Has previous leadership experience
Must sign a confidentiality agreement
