Student is responsible for performing supervisory tasks related to the food service area. Student works under little or no direct supervision exercising high levels of independent judgment.
Duties (may include but not limited to)
Takes orders, cooks and serves food to customers
Checks meal cards
Cleans and sanitizes equipment, counter areas, tables and trays
Takes inventory of supplies
Trains new employees
Limited responsibility for cash and/or property
Informs management of concerns and customer problems
Works special functions and catered events
Supervises events and/or other students
Coordinates the activities of many student employees
Additional Requirements (may include but not limited to)
Must be able to lift up to 20+ pounds
Exhibits excellent customer service skills
Has a minimum of two years experience in the food service industry
Exhibits excellent leadership skills
Must be at least 18 years old
Must sign a confidentiality agreement
**May be responsible for health and safety of individuals in an area where alcoholic beverages are served, including responsibility for adherence to all applicable policies and laws regarding alcohol consumption.
