General Description
Student is responsible for performing a variety of complex technical and administrative duties for the director or head of a department. Student works under minimal supervision and exhibits a high level of independent judgment and initiative.

Duties (may include but not limited to)
Acts as liaison between dean or department head and others
Communicates with University community members on behalf of department
Troubleshoots computer-related problems
Performs difficult, non-routine tasks including research
Develops and edits department materials
Operates standard office equipment
Aids with policy planning and interpretation
Assists in coordinating projects from start to finish
Supervises activities of other student employees

Additional Requirements (may include but not limited to)
Demonstrates working knowledge of Microsoft software
Exhibits excellent writing, verbal and proofreading skills
Has previous customer service and/or office experience
Demonstrates excellent clerical and customer service skills
Pays close attention to detail
Must sign a confidentiality agreement
