Summer Music Camp – MSYM - MSYM Junior Camp

Each Junior camper will participate in either Symphonic Band, Concert Band, String Ensemble or Chorus. Additional ensembles will include Jazz Bands and Musical Theatre. Campers may also participate in chamber ensembles, music classes, master classes, piano and guitar instruction. A recreational evening is planned for midweek of camp. Other evening activities include performances by faculty, students and various organized events.
Students entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in the Fall of 2012 are eligible for MSYM Junior Camp. Students entering 9th grade in the Fall of 2012 may either choose MSYM Junior or Senior Camp.
General Information
Accommodations for Junior camp will be in double dormitory rooms with supervision by experienced teachers and counselors. Dining facilities are conveniently located on the University of Maine campus. Medical concerns will be handled by qualified personnel. Camp includes:
