Ripley Extension Homemakers Group

The Ripley Extension Homemakers Group is one of six local community groups that comprise Somerset County Extension Homemakers. We have 18 members and meet on the 2^nd Tuesday of every month.

Some projects we have recently been involved in are:

We enjoyed the program on Maine Birds the best. A video was shown on feeding birds in winter and the different kinds of feeders and birdhouses there were. We also learned about homemade bird food. We discussed different ways to attract different birds and when they were likely to come to our feeders. Our leader had many books with pictures of birds, and her collection of bird ornaments was of interest to many.
