Background:
Dung “Emily” Tran is from Vietnam. She earned a B.A in Financial Economics with double major in Accounting and Finance from The University of Maine in May of 2012. She was awarded Outstanding International Student 2012 for academic and extra – curricular activities. As an undergraduate, Emily was a Teaching Assistant for Microeconomics and Environmental Policy. She also worked as a Resident Assistant for Residence Life on campus for two years. Currently, Emily is a graduate teaching assistant for various classes. Emily’s areas of interest and research are corporate finance and international economics development.
