Background:

Blair holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boise State University. As an undergraduate, Blair was a McNair scholar and a research assistant working in agricultural economics. After coming to Maine he joined University of Maine’s Sustainability Solutions Initiative, an NSF EPSCoR funded research program focused on interdisciplinary sustainability science.  His research interests are in landscape level economic-ecological systems and applied statistics. Current work includes modeling decision making of private landowners using survey and spatial data.
