Background:

Ben is a Maine native who graduated from Wheaton College, MA in 2010 with a B.A. in International Relations. His undergrad studies primarily focused upon European politics and integration, and Russia’s political economy under Vladimir Putin’s first term.  After graduating Ben lived and worked in the Boston area for a year where he performed background checks for a private security company.  Hoping to continue his academic studies, Ben enrolled and was accepted into both the University of Maine’s School of Global Policy and the School of Economics.  Ben is currently pursuing graduate degrees in both schools, while working as a research assistant at the University of Maine’s Advanced Structures and Composite Center.
