Bachelor of Arts Economics and International Affairs

Economics
The B.A. in Economics degree is designed for students who wish to pursue economics training and receive a traditional liberal arts education. Students enrolled in this degree program take foundation and advanced coursework in economics. These courses are complemented by professional electives in liberal arts and sciences and mathematics and statistics. Potential employers for graduates include: private businesses, private consulting firms, government
agencies, research organizations, and law firms.

Economics / International Affairs
The B.A. in Economics/International Affairs is similar to the B.A. in Economics degree, with emphasis given to liberal arts training with an international focus. Students enrolled in this degree program take foundation and advanced coursework in economics, modern foreign languages, anthropology, history, and political science. Potential employers for graduates include: private businesses, private consulting firms, government agencies, research organizations, non-profit organizations, and law firms.

Graduate Study
The B.A. in Economics degree programs provide a strong academic background for students who wish to pursue graduate studies. Students are prepared for graduate studies in Economics, Law, Business, or other related fields.
