Graduate Experience:

“The graduate program at UMaine helped me to prepare for the quantitative rigor required to complete a Ph.D. program in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California – Davis. I also gained experience in research methods while working on my M.S. thesis and while serving as a legislative intern to the Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry. That experience prepared me to conceptualize, fund, and complete my doctoral dissertation. Ultimately, the analytical skills and confidence that I gained at UMaine allowed me to achieve my goal of obtaining a tenure-track academic position.”
