Student Social Work Organization members participate in the “Out of Darkness Walk”
Student Social Work Organization members participated in the “Out of Darkness Walk” on October 5th. The “Out of Darkness Walk”, coordinated by the UMaine Counseling Center, benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Janice Grant (BSW ’04; MSW ‘ 10; IPh.D. candidate), Graduate Assistant for the Counseling Center’s Touchstone Project recruited social work students for this important community event.
