Graduate students conducting research in Sustainable Agriculture can earn a Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences, Ecology and Environmental Sciences, or Plant Science. M.S. degrees for students studying Sustainable Agriculture are available in Plant, Soil and Environmental Sciences, Ecology and Environmental Sciences, Entomology, Botany and Plant Pathology, or Resource Economics and Policy. Students generally seek a faculty advisor whose research program best fits their interests, and who has funding to support an assistantship.
