Assistant Community Coordinator

The Assistant Community Coordinator (ACC) is an important member of the Residence Life staff and is responsible for assisting the Community Coordinators (CC) in achieving the mission and goals of the Residence Life Department. A live-in position with an apartment in the residence hall, specific duties will vary based on geographic location and population of students, and will be negotiated with the direct supervisor. Academic Support Coordinator

The Academic Support Coordinator position blends traditional Residence Life experiences with a focus on creating an academically supportive environment in the University of Maine residence halls.  This position combines programming, coordination of academic initiatives, outreach to students deemed “high risk” and academic advising support.  This is a live-in position with an apartment in the residence halls.  Each Academic Support Coordinator serves a designated area of campus, and may work with first-year, second-year, transfer or other specific student populations.
