Concentration in Professional Writing
Students concentrating in professional & technical writing want to work for research and development companies, in publishing, for small businesses, in marketing and public relations, as arts management personnel, in social media marketing, and in other areas. Students use coursework and experience outside the classroom to build portfolios, professional contacts, and to develop their own credentials.

- ENG 496: Field Experience in Professional Writing (1-6 credits)
This concentration is completed after submission and approval of the fieldwork portfolio.
