2008-036January 25, 2013, 1-3 pm: 57 Stodder Hall

If you’re finishing your advanced degree soon, plan to attend this workshop. Sponsored by the Graduate Student Association, the Center for Teaching Excellence (CETA), and the UMaine Career Center, this session will address such questions as

  • What’s the difference between a CV and a resume?
  • How and when do I negotiate benefits and salary?
  • What resources do I use to find a non-academic job?
  • What’s a 30-second elevator pitch?

Career Center staff will be available to review resumes and CV’s.

To register, call 581-3472 or email by January 20.
