(a minimum of 25 credits)

The requirements for a minor in Environmental Horticulture include the following:

Plus one course from the following list:

Plus one course from the following list:

BIO327 Introductory Applied Entomology
BIO342 Plants in Our World
BIO452 Plant Physiology

SOIL SCIENCE
(a minimum of 20 credits)

The requirements for a minor in Soil Science include the following:

PSE140/141 Soil Science/Lab
PSE440 Environmental Soil Chemistry and Plant Nutrition
PSE442 Pedology: The Science of Soil Morphology, Genesis and Classification
PSE444 Field Soil Morphology and Classification Techniques

Plus at least three courses from the following list:

ERS330 Mineralogy
ERS441 Glaciers and Our Landscape
PSE320 Soil Organic Matter Management
PSE413 Wetland Delineation and Mapping
PSE469 Soil Microbiology
WLE423 Wetland Ecology and Conservation


SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
(a minimum of 19 credits)

The requirements for a minor in Sustainable Agriculture include the following:

ECO381 Sustainable Development Principles and Policy
PSE101 Cropping Systems
OR
PSE424 Nursery Management
PSE105 Principles of Sustainable Agriculture
PSE140/141 Soil Science/Lab

SUSTAINABLE FOOD SYSTEMS
