ESL Endorsement - How to Register

Be sure to register for the appropriate level (undergraduate or graduate) as early as possible in order to ensure your participation in the course(s) and to assist in determining the enrollment.  University of Maine courses are canceled two weeks prior to the start date if enrollment is low (less than 12 students), so please be sure to register prior to this deadline. You may participate in a course without pursuing credit, but this will not count towards endorsement or provide you with University credit.  Since class size is limited, preference will be given to those who register for credit.

Please register in the following manner:

• College of Education students (undergraduate and graduate) – Register online through MaineStreet
• Undergraduate non-degree students – Contact CED at 581-3143 or ced.registrations@umit.maine.edu
• Graduate non-degree students – Contact the Graduate School at 581-3219
