Hours and Days of Operation

Printing and Mailing Services is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday for production and from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday for drop off and pick up.

Our vacations and holidays follow the University of Maine administrative calendar. Please take note of these days, as they can impact the delivery time of your project.

Printing Services is closed on the following holidays:

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Columbus Day
  • Veteran’s Day
  • Thanksgiving and the following Friday
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day

Presses and Composition are closed but the administrative office is open on the following dates:

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 21, 2013
  • President’s Day, Feb. 18, 2013
  • Patriot’s Day, April 20, 2013
  • Memorial Day, May 27, 2013

Mailing Services is closed on all federal holidays.
Saturday U.S. Mail delivery is limited to student dormitories, only.
Mailing Services will be open the Friday after Thanksgiving.

To purchase stamps and send personal letters and packages by U.S. Mail, students should visit the USPS Sub Station located on the basement floor of the Memorial Union.

Printing and Mailing Services is located in the Keyo Public Affairs Building, off Route 2 on the Rangeley Road. See the campus map for additional information.
