Judith Ryan has served as Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Administration at the University of Maine since April 2012.
Ryan, who has worked in higher education for more than 30 years, came to UMaine after serving as Vice President for Human Resources and Senior Advisor to the President at the University of Southern Maine, a position she held since 2005. At USM, she was named Vice President for Student Affairs in 1992 and Vice President for Student Development in 1994. In 2002, Ryan served as Special Assistant to the USM President and, from 2003-05, as Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the Chancellor of the University of Maine System.
Ryan received a master’s degree in education from USM in 1982.
