The President’s Cabinet - Elaine Clark

Elaine Clark serves as Executive Director of Facilities, Real Estate and Planning at the University of Maine, having joined the UMaine administration in 2006.  Ms. Clark has extensive experience in real estate and land use law; construction law; and building and infrastructure planning, both in the public and private sectors.  She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Western New England College School of Law, and is admitted to the Bar in three states.  Elaine has worked closely with the Athletic Department in planning and constructing facility improvements over the past five years.  These include turf installations at several fields, construction of a field hockey field, replacement of dugouts at the baseball field, construction of “Black Bear Way”, renovations to the Alfond Arena, and planning for upcoming renovations to the 170,000 square foot Field House/Memorial Gym complex.
