Since my arrival as the University of Maine’s 19th president I have learned much about this remarkable campus and community.  The impact of UMaine’s exceptional academic, research and student life programs is evident throughout the campus, our local community, the state of Maine and our nation.  This extraordinary record of success is made possible through the daily efforts of those in the UMaine community including individuals, families and businesses unselfishly contributing to UMaine’s legacy.

I hope that you will explore UMaine’s website to learn more about our inspiring undergraduate students and graduate students, our world class faculty, our dedicated alumni, our outstanding academic offerings, research programs, and public outreach through Cooperative Extension, the arts, and athletics that have all contributed in special ways to the University of Maine being regarded as one of the top public land-grant, research universities in the country.
