Internship Opportunities with Rep. Mike Michaud
The office of U.S. Congressman Michael Michaud (ME-02) is currently accepting applications for full and part-time summer semester interns beginning in May. Daily tasks will vary and include answering phones, running errands, researching legislation for the Member and legislative staff, attending hearings and briefings, and answering constituent letters on various issues before the House. As a result, interns will learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a congressional office. All internships are unpaid, but the office can coordinate with your school for credit.
Maine/New England ties are a plus but not required. Interested applicants should submit their cover letter, resume, and a 2-3 page writing sample to ben.goodman@mail.house.gov with “ME02 Internship” in the subject line. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; however, the absolute Deadline for Summer 2013 Internships is Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
