Marketing

Get Real Get Maine – Maine Department of Agriculture direct marketing web site to link farmers with consumers.  There are also links to their Senior Farm Share program, Farmers’ Markets, FAQ for farmers.

Maine Highlands Farmers – the goal of these direct marketing farmers is to work together to enhance their farms through joint marketing efforts and educational programs on farming topics.

Testing

University of Maine Analytical Lab – this is the lab that does soil testing as well as manure, compost, soil amendment and plant tissue testing.

DairyOne Forage Testing Lab – this is the lab that does forage, pasture, grain and feed supplement testing. In addition to nutrient analysis they also have the capability to do mycotoxin testing .
