Faculty and Staff - Joanne Boyton
Joanne Boynton has taught for many years at The University of Maine, and now enjoys being part of the Peace and Reconciliation Studies Program. Trained as a mediator, she has volunteered at several community mediation centers. Since 2001 she has attended the Summer Peacebuilding Institute at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg , VA, which offers advanced training to professionals from the US and many areas of conflict around the world. She is also a member of the Restorative Justice Program of the Midcoast, working with juvenile offenders.
