The Professional Employees Advisory Council exists to encourage, facilitate and contribute to collegiality among the professional staff and administration at the University of Maine. We award professional development funds, organize professional development activities, nominate colleagues to university committees and identify and communicate with professionals regarding non-bargainable issues that are relevant to professional employment.

Outstanding Professional Employee Award
Deadline for submission – Friday, April 19, 2013 This award is given annually to two professional employees who have maintained the highest level of professional services and standards within their disciplines or areas of responsibility; have helped to create a better environment for employees, students, and the campus community; and have demonstrated public service through significant contributions to their field, the university, or their local community. The Committee selects two nominees each year for a $1,000 stipend. Click here for more information.
