Frequently Asked Questions - How do I work with the PDC?

Your website says that anyone can come to the PDC and have full access to the staff and research facilities on a fee-for-service basis.  How can we begin?

The first step in working with the PDC usually comes as a call to our Director, Michael Bilodeau or our Managing Director, Pros Bennett. You can let us know how we can help you and also arrange a visit to meet staff, tour the facility, and discuss a project more completely. If Intellectual Property is an issue, we can work with UMaine’s Department of Industrial Cooperation to execute formal agreements for Collaboration, Non-Disclosure, and agreements for Material Transfer.

The PDC has a 30 year history of working with individuals, small companies, and industrial corporations – on projects large or small. Give us a call. We can work together to help you bring your ideas to market.
