Permit Application

Parking permits for resident and commuter students can be purchased at the Student Service Center in the Union.  The price for resident and commuter permit is $50 – valid Sept 1st thru Aug 31st.  Prices are adjusted throughout the year.  Payment methods include MaineCard (campus funds), major credit cards, check or cash.  Please bring your vehicle registration with you.

Permits may be purchased through the mail.  Print application forms for Visitor or Student Permits (Doc) (PDF) or Staff Permits (Doc) (PDF) and mail with payment to Parking and Transportation Services Office at Room 523 Doris Twitchell Allen Village Community Building.

Purchase your parking permit early for the upcoming fall.  If you are a resident student, the permit will be in your residence hall mailbox when you arrive back on campus; commuter students may pick their permits up at the Student Service Center prior to classes.

Note that, if you change your plans regarding where you’ll be living next fall, permits may be exchanged for a permit of equal value at no charge during the first week of the fall semester.
