The 5th Annual “Glimmer of Glamour” Fundraising Event for the Teen and Young Parent Program was held on Sunday, April 3rd, at the Berry Manor Inn in Rockland. Those attending were able to enjoy a variety of spa-like stations offering ways to pamper the body, mind and soul. Soothing music was played while participants enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, wine and a chocolate fountain while bidding on silent auction items donated by the community.

All proceeds go directly to the Teen and Young Parent Program, which supports all first-time families through certified home-visiting parent educators. Through the involvement of  the surrounding communities various activities are offered to enrolled parents free of charge such as play groups, dads group, family swims at area YMCA’s, scrapbooking, music workshops and field trips to the Children’s Musuem.
