A free home visiting program for families in Knox, Lincoln & Sagadahoc Counties.

Home visits are a time to

• focus on your pregnancy, newborn, or toddler
• learn about your child’s development
• view educational videos and resource materials
• ask a certified Parents as Teachers^TM parent educator questions about parenting
• learn about community resources and opportunities to connect with other families

What is Parents as Teachers^TM?

Parents as Teachers^TM is an internationally recognized child development program that assists parents in recognizing that, as a parent, they are their child’s first and most important teacher.

What is the Teen and Young Parent Program?

The Teen and Young Parent Program offers several services especially for teen and young parents.

What are family services?

Our family services include assistance in locating transportation, housing, childcare, or connecting with other community resources. We also provide access to donated children’s clothing and baby equipment, and offer playgroups where enrolled families and their children can participate in family activities and workshops.
