Summer Orientation sessions are held during the middle two weekends of June. Each Summer Orientation session is a two-day event (starts at 12:30 p.m. on the first day and ends around noon on the second day) arranged by College or Program. Students will have the opportunity to interact with deans, faculty and students from their program, acquire information about class scheduling and registration, and learn about campus services and activities. The New Student Orientation staff will assist you and your guests throughout the session as we welcome you to the University of Maine community.

Invitations, registration information, and a tentative agenda for Summer Orientation will be sent to all accepted students in early May 2013.

Before registering, please double-check that you are signing up for the academic session for the major/college that you were admitted into. Check your acceptance letter, your Student Service Center on MaineStreet, or contact the Admissions Office at (207) 581-1561 or um-admit@maine.edu to verify you are signing up for the correct dates.
