Overview and Registration Information
Congratulations on your decision to come to the University of Maine! We look forward to seeing you at Spring Orientation on Sunday, January 13th. Please plan on arriving on Sunday, January 13th and check-in at the Memorial Union. This orientation program is for new and transfer students starting in the Spring 2013 semester.

We are planning many activities and events to welcome you to the University of Maine community. Below is a link to the tentative schedule that lists some of the events planned. Please note that events, times and locations may change. You will be given a final schedule when you check-in at the Memorial Union on January 13th.
Key student service departments will be open during Spring Orientation to assist you. We have also provided office hours before and after Spring Orientation in case you need to contact or visit these departments. Below is a link to the Spring Orientation Office Hours.
Note to Families
Family members are welcomed to accompany their students to help them settle into their new home and participate in some of the events planned on Sunday, January 13th. Click here for information about area lodging.

Meet Team Maine
Each summer, fall, and spring orientation, new students are greeted by a terrific group of students called TEAM MAINE (Student Ambassadors, Dirigo Tour Guides, and Student Telecounseling Admissions Representatives). They will help you get settled and ready to go! Team Maine is here to assist you and your family, to answer your questions, and get you ready for the spring semester.
