Request for Construction Contractor:

 

ALUMNI HALL EXTERIOR RESTORATION

 

The Project consists of replacing the south side fascia, soffit and trim detail as shown on plans, and the painting of all exterior windows, doors, frames and screens of Alumni Hall.  There is a bid alternate for this Project.

 

There will be no pre-bid meeting.

 

Bids must be received in Facilities Management prior to 2:00pm on Tuesday,

June 4, 2013.

FOGLER LIBRARY COLLABORATIVE LEARNING SPACE

 

The Project consists of the construction of one classroom, two group study rooms and one IDF space on the first floor within the existing library.

 

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held in Room 120A of the Fogler Library on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 1:00pm.

 

Bids must be received in Facilities Management prior to 1:00pm on Thursday,

May 23, 2013.

Other Requests:

 

PAVING MAINTENANCE FY14

 

The Project consists of placing overlay pavement on existing paved campus roads, parking lots and sidewalks.  Locations will be selected based on total tonnage to be placed, which quantity may vary based on the unit prices received.  Associated miscellaneous items including shim pavement, bituminous curb and adjusting structures to grade will be done as necessary.

 

There will be no pre-bid meeting.

 

Bids must be received in Facilities Management prior to 2:00pm on Tuesday,

June 11, 2013.

ORONO BOG WALK

 

The Project, located in the City of Bangor, consists of the replacement of approximately 880 linear feet of the existing dock type floating sections of marsh boardwalk constructed primarily of rough sawn hemlock.  This is the first phase of a larger project to replace the entire 4,971 linear foot boardwalk.  The new walkway structure will meet all code compliance and ADA requirements of the Federal and State governments.

 

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the site located within the Bangor City Forest on Tripp Drive off Stillwater Avenue in Bangor, Maine, on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 10:00am.

 

Bids must be received in Facilities Management prior to 2:00pm on Thursday,

May 9, 2013.

 

UPDATE:  THE SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS FOR THIS PROJECT HAVE BEEN POSTED.
