UMaine Nursing International announces 2nd annual service learning trip to Belize during March Break 2013.
Thirteen nursing students and 1 faculty will be traveling to the Cayo District of Belize for 9 days. The students will be conducting community health clinics alongside Belize physicians, and will be visiting nursing home and a local health center. The group will also take Spanish lessons, and a suture /injection class. The last day of the trip includes a day at Caye Caulker where swimming, snorkeling and just relaxing in the beach are some of the activities the group plans on doing.
