Acadia Harvest’s Research Operations at UMaine Cited in Huffington Post Blog Article

(CEI), a nonprofit community development lender based in Wiscasset, has provided capital for a lobster processing plant, sea-vegetable producers and Acadia Harvest to help fishermen and women diversify their incomes in the face of changing fishing patterns, according to the article. Acadia Harvest, which is pioneering techniques for sustainable aquaculture, needed matching funds to qualify for state funds to grow several thousand California yellowtail, the article states.
